BURBANK NATURE PROGRAMS

The Burbank Park, Recreation & Community Service Department Nature Programs conducts volunteer docent training. All new docents must attend one class in each of four training sessions.  Classes do not have to be conducted in order.  All classes are held at the Stough Canyon Nature Center, 23   Walnut Avenue, Burbank and run for about 2-1/2 to 3 hours each.  All volunteers must be fingerprinted.  Volunteer docents assist with nature hikes, field trips, office work, displays and special events.  Training Fee for materials is $10.

SESSION II Plants & Insects Sat Mar 6th 1:30 pm
SESSION III Birds & Other Animals Sat Mar 13th 1:30pm
SESSION IV Native American History Sat Mar 27th 1:30 pm
Optional In-Service Training 1st Thursday of the Month at 6:30 PM
