Community Disaster Volunteer Program

Emergency Response Team Class Coming Up

The Community Disaster Volunteer (CDV) Program was developed to expand the City's response capability in time of a local emergency.  All CDV members are registered disaster workers and are issued City identification cards.  No formal training is required to become a CDV but volunteers with specialized talents in the following fields are especially needed: medical, construction/engineering, and video production.  As a CDV member, you will be able to participate in monthly meetings and specialized disaster training classes.  Our popular Emergency Response Team class will start the winter.  This class fills up quickly so act now to enroll in this valuable course!
