TURN PRINTER CARTRIDGES INTO BUCKS FOR LIBRARY BOOKS
Used Ink Jet and Laser Cartridges are being collected at all three Burbank Libraries in designated containers.
Ink Jet Cartridges
If you prefer there are self-addressed stamped envelopes alongside the
collection containers for you to take home, and keep near your printer. When you
put in a new ink jet cartridge, put the used one into the new cartridge box, and
then into the envelope. Drop it in the mail. The bar code will give credit to
the library and we can turn that cartridge into bucks for books.
You do not have to live in Burbank or own a computer to be part of this program. If you know someone ANYWHERE who would be willing to donate their used ink jet cartridges, send them the pre-paid, pre-addressed envelopes that you will find on rolls next to the collection boxes.
Help us spread the word. Tell everyone about this win win project. Send envelopes to family and friends all over the world. Flyers at the Library are also available.
Laser Cartridges
We can turn laser cartridges into bucks for books too! Because of their
size, laser cartridges must be brought into any of the Burbank Libraries.
