First Security Lending Opens 2 New Branches Helmed by 20 Year Industry Veterans; All Offices Direct FHA Approved Lenders

(Burbank, CA)—First Security Lending, a landmark Burbank based Mortgage Broker and Banker known for its community service efforts, and unmatched customer service recently opened two new branches in surrounding cities. The new branches in Valencia and Woodland Hills will both offer homeowners and buyers the opportunities to work with some of the area’s most seasoned mortgage professionals, while having access to the benefits of the new FHA loan limits and guidelines due to FSL’s long term status as an FHA Approved Direct Lender.

First Security Lending’s new Valencia branch is helmed by 20 year mortgage industry veteran Jim Doty, who opted to merge his company, Lighthouse Lending with FSL due to the impeccable reputation that First Security Lending has earned, and “the availability of his team to now offer banking services in addition to brokering services,” he says.

According to Doty, “In these changing market times, brokers need to have every possible tool at their disposal in order to compete in the ever changing real estate financing market. The Valencia branch of First Security Lending currently employs 11 mortgage originators, specializing in both residential and commercial mortgage lending, and is located at 27965 Smyth Drive.

Even more recently, First Security Lending opened a branch in Woodland Hills with 20 year lending veteran Debra Knowles serving as the Vice President and Branch Manager of the new office located at 21900 Burbank Blvd.

Knowles also acknowledges that the products available to her 5 person mortgage origination team were appealing, but counts the “family oriented atmosphere that Justin Aldi and Ronnie da Motta have created,” as the driving force behind her decision to partner with FSL.
