Male Volunteers Needed to be a Friend in Burbank!

Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment.

Change someone’s life forever with just a few hours of your time each month. Volunteers are desperately needed to be matched in one-to-one friendships with individuals with developmental disabilities. This opportunity is very flexible and requires very minimal time: 1 phone call per week, 2 visits per month, for 6 months to a year. Change almost nothing about your usual daily schedule, just the company you keep! Best Buddies also hosts fun group events for our Buddy Pairs such as bowling nights, karaoke parties, professional sporting events, amusement park excursions and much more.

We have a long wait list of remarkable men with disabilities, many of whom have been waiting for a friend like you for a very long time. The time commitment is small, the rewards are immense, and no experience is necessary. The next friend you make could be your Best Buddy!

Be a friend. Make a difference. Change a life. www.bestbuddies.org
