Spring Day Trip Registration (for April, May and June Trips)
Burbank Residents Priority Day: Monday, March 9, 9am (You must prove your Burbank
residency). Registration for all: Tuesday, March 10, 9am. Priority numbers will be handed
out beginning at 8am.

As of March 12th, there were still some openings on
our winter trips for March, however we started signups for Spring.
St. Patricks Dance! Thursday, March 19, 7pm: Dance
to the sounds of the 40s, 50s, and 60s, with the Silvertone Trio. The March 26
Dance will feature the swinging sounds of the Clyde Reasinger Band. Admission is
$6 ($5 for members). BSAC cardholders receive $1 discount.
Feeling Fine after Fifty Five Saturdays, May 2 to May 23, 9:15 to
10:45am Sign up for this 4-week nutrition/weight loss program for older
adults will be held at the Joslyn Center and covers a variety of topics in nutrition,
economics, health and exercise. Developed and taught by Ruth Frechman, M.A., R.D.,
spokesperson for the American Dieticians Association and health educator. Attendance fee
is $20 ($15 with BSAC card).
Introduction to Opera Tuesdays, begins April 7, 2pm: Learn all
about Opera in this fun, introductory 6-week course featuring topics such as: Composers,
Alcoholic Opera, Historical Opera, Shakespeare, Operatic Villains, and .How to Go to the
Opera.. Course fee is $7 ($5 with BSAC). A field trip to the AMC Theater to attend a
Metropolitan Opera HD broadcast is also proposed (additional $22 fee).
Free Tax Return Assistance For Burbank Residents 55+ Service provided by
AARP tax-aide volunteers, in cooperation with the IRS. Appointments available through
April 15 at: McCambridge Recreation Center - Thursdays from 9:15am-3pm Joslyn Adult Center
- Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 1:00-5:00pm
