Permit to Attend Based on Employment

Did you know if you work in Burbank your child can attend a Burbank school?  The permit offers parents who work full time in Burbank or own and operate a business in Burbank, the opportunity to send their child to a Burbank school. Your child receives a comprehensive, high quality education and you are able to participate in the many school events and celebrations because your child will be closer to your workplace. Your child will appreciate your involvement and you will see the results of your decision in placing your child in a Burbank school. Why Burbank Schools - because our District Academic Performance Index (API) score is 817, which is above the State goal of 800. Our schools offer smaller class size, before and after school day care, including fully subsidized programs for grades K-5, Arts for All, Gifted and Talented programs, Advanced Placement courses and Regional Occupational Program (ROP) courses to provide your child with options for their future while affording them a great education.

Once your documentation is received and approved, you will be notified of your child's placement. Please be advised space is limited and students are placed on a first come, first served basis.

The Permit (Interdistrict) Application period begins March 1, 2010 for the 2010-2011 school year.
