Conversation when Sisters in Crime/LA present a panel discussion, "A Slight
Case of Murder," at the Buena Vista Branch Library. The panel will include mystery writers Morgan St. James, handwriting expert

Sunday, August 3rd and Sunday August 10th starting at 4 pm, Shakespeare at
Play will produce its 5th annual Shakespeare Festival in Burbank at the Park
adjacent to the Buena Vista Branch Library. Each day will kick-off with a Green
Show featuring jugglers, musicians, puppets, interactive games for the
children, and more. On August 3rd, this will be followed by the wildly
entertaining and hilarious, A Midsummer Night's Dream. On
August 10th, the Green Show will be followed by the romantic comedy: Two

August 4, 7 PM A series of free writing workshops for aspiring authors
kicks off with Chris Roerden, the author of Don't Sabotage Your
Submission: Save Your Manuscript from Turning Up D.O.A, who will discuss
how to improve your odds of getting published. The workshop will be held at the
