The Power Of Prayer

Fri. evening 7 pm - 9:30 pm May 16th, and Sat. 9 am-8 pm May 17th. "The Power of Prayer Course" is coming to St. Finbar Catholic Church! A 2-day course that will help you learn effective ways of praying and how to seek God's direction for your life.  Held in the church hall attached to the school at 2120 W. Olive Ave. Burbank 91506. Register now by calling (818) 846-6251 x554. Course will be taught by Koinonia John the Baptist ministry, known for the Philip Course. All faiths are welcome.

  • About Koinonia John the Baptist
  • Koinonia John the Baptist was founded by Fr. Ricardo Argañaraz in Camparmo, Italy in 1979, and has since spread to many other countries.
  • The Catholic Church has welcomed the Koinonia John the Baptist into the United States to help with the mission of evangelization. The community is currently in the process of receiving Vatican approval as an Apostolic Society, however clergy from around the world have already given their blessings.
  • Cardinal Roger Mahony has extended an invitation to the evangelization group to work closely in harmony with pastors and other leaders within parishes of the Archdioscese of Los Angeles in order to accomplish its mission:
  1. To bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the whole world and to bring joy and zeal back into the Church.
  2. To inspire and train the faithful to evangelize, bringing lost souls back into the fold.
  3. To create faith-filled Christian communities throughout the world.
