As the weather gets warmer, flowers bloom and the mood changes
from Winter to Spring, there’s one longtime tradition that helps mark the
changing of the seasons - SPRING CONCERT at John Burroughs High School.
The program features all of the school’s choirs under the
direction of Brendan Jennings, including classical music as well as the final
performances of the choirs’ 2007 Show Choir sets. In addition, there will be
special guest performances by choirs from both Luther and Jordan middle schools,
and the Burroughs Alumni choir. At the end of the show there is a very special
moment when members of the Burroughs choirs for the 2008-09 school year are
presented.
SPRING CONCERT is the last concert for this school year…so
if you haven’t seen Burroughs’ award-winning choirs - including Decibelles,
Sound Waves, Men@Work, Sound Sensations and Powerhouse - Grand Champion at the
national FAME competition in Chicago this year -- this is your last chance!
Burroughs SPRING CONCERT is Friday, May 16th at 7 p.m.,
at the Burroughs Auditorium, 1920 W. Clark Avenue, Burbank 91506.
