Mission
Our mission is to cover community events and news in Burbank, California and
nearby communities. We connect people to events sponsored by
educational, municipal, non-for-profit, churches, businesses and other community
organizations in Burbank & nearby areas through our email newsletter and
website. We publish news and announcements of interest to those who live
or work in the greater Burbank Area.
Methodology
Our preferred methodology is to accept event and news releases by email from
knowledgeable individuals within community organizations and businesses.
If you are responsible for publicity of a Burbank Area organization and you want
to use our services, then please request our
services. We welcome participation from all Burbank area
organizations, but things don't just appear on our pages automatically.
This service is entirely volunteer driven, and normally services go to those who make
prompt reasonable requests, providing adequate lead time. We do, however,
reserve the right to not to publish requests at our sole discretion.
Our links page
is also based upon community recommendations, and we prefer links to operations
with a strong physical presence in the Burbank Area (with some obvious exceptions).
